A God-Dad to be exact. Hahaha... I am the proud God-father of Darren... but some say I am the father because he look like me. Hmmm... I'd say no more. Hehehe... Oh... the baptism was held at St Joseph's on August 26th, 2006. So this posting was late. :o)
Ok... 'nuff said. Here's Darren's baptism photo with Fr Joe and I!
The hitz.fm cruisers are in Kuching now! They parked outside my college this afternoon and gave away freebies! I manage to get a cap, a mouse pad, a sunshade, Pringles, stickers and a wristband. They are really generous in giving away all the gifts so if you see them parked around town, just go meet them and you may even win the CD of the Week, Girl Next Door by Saving Jane.
Oh... they are also here to give free Shell petrol vouchers. So listen up to hitz.fm at 5:45pm and be the first three cars with the "medal" stickers to enter the Shell station. They will reward you with RM50 petrol voucher for each sticker you have!
A few days ago, I went to KWSP (Kumpulan Wang Simpana Pekerja) to settle some issue and I was indeed impressed with their new look! The building was refurbished, the counters looks nice and the help desk looks professional. In addition to that, they have the machine to allow you to print an up-to-date statement of account just by placing your thumb on the thumb-print reader. They have indeed changed! I would give them a 5-star status! Until I went to talk to the security guard...
Sam : Excuse me, where's the washroom?
Guard : Apa?
Sam : Toilet.
Guard : Sini tak ada toilet. You boleh pergi toilet kat coffee shop sana. Pinjam mereka punya.
There goes the 5-star status. Flushed down the toilet bowl at the coffee shop next door...
Most wedding dinner I went to are either held in restaurants, home, or hotel's ballroom. Last night's one was really different. Its a garden wedding! Wow! We dont get much of that in Kuching, do we? I am priviledged to be a part of this garden wedding as an MC for the evening's dinner. Here are some photos of the dinner: the bride and groom, yours truely and friends, and some shots of the garden.
